Solitaire games, also known as Patience, are card games for a single player. These games typically involve dealing cards from a shuffled deck into a prescribed arrangement on a tabletop, from which the player attempts to reorder the deck by suit and rank through a series of moves transferring cards from one place to another under prescribed restrictions.
The first known solitaire game rules were recorded during the Napoleonic era. From that time the popularity of solitaire games has grown widely, and in second half of the 20th century hundreds of books describing hundreds of different solitaire games have been published. In the 1980s, personal computers made solitaire more popular than ever: since players don't need to shuffle and deal the cards for each and every hand, game play has become more enjoyable.
We provide various solitaire game applications for Palm OS handhelds. The whole range of them is shown in the table:

Klondike Solitaire is probably the best-known solitaire in the world. Many people don't even realize that other games exist. Though the name may not be familiar, the game itself certainly is. This is due in no small part to Microsoft's inclusion of the game in every version of Windows, though their naming the game “Microsoft Solitaire” only added to the confusion about the game's proper name.

Forty Thieves is a Palm OS version of the Forty Thieves Solitaire.
It is a very old and popular solitaire game that is known under many names, such as Napoleon at St. Helena and Roosevelt at San Juan. Its characteristics form the basis of as many as 100 or more other solitaire games. While it may not be the oldest game of its type, it seems to combine the standard solitaire elements in the best way and has come to be one of the most popular and important two-deck solitaires.
